The idea here is straight forward: you can rent Hawarden Castle Pavilion as a standalone space and we hand you the keys. Our teams have experience hosting events for up to 5000 people. What we cannot provide, we know the people who can. You can trust us.

Our Rental Package

In opting for our Rental Package you make the booking, we hand you the keys to the venue. 

This includes:

  • Exclusive access to a large Pavilion and 2.75 acres of well kept, fenced cricket pitch.

  • A full restaurant-style kitchen.

  • A beautifully decorated, heated space to seat around 55 in The Pavilion.

  • Acres of space to erect marquees or bell tents.

  • A very cool standalone bar (which was originally a score hut).

  • Fully lit car parking adjacent to the Pavilion for around 40 cars.

  • Further car parking within 3 minutes walk for any number of cars.

  • A large barbecue and as much fire wood as you can use.

  • 5 excellent loos.

  • 2 top quality showers.

  • Disabled access and loos.

In addition to you renting the Pavilion and Cricket Pitch with their facilities, we can also provide other services, all at an extra cost.

These include:

  • Catering. We specialise in local and seasonal food. But we can do what you want, in the kitchen or on the barbecue. From canapés to feasts here are some suggestions.

  • Bars and Booze. You name it, we know how to get it, mix it, chill it (or heat it up) and serve it with style. We have bar managers and bar staff who know their stuff.

  • Bell Tents. If your guests want to sleep on site we have 140 fully equipped and beautiful canvas bell tents for hire.

In addition, we can provide you with a list of approved suppliers who we know and trust to provide you with whatever you like to bring this amazing space to life.

We know people who can provide:

  • Marquees. Small, huge, medium sized; we have amazing contacts with the best suppliers of beautiful canvas tents. We can get you literally anything. Big top, military mess tent, anything.

  • Sport and Entertainment. Through our work with The Good Life Experience we have masses of contacts with bands and DJs, of course. But we can also organise archery, axe throwing, inspiring speakers, tree climbing, foraging, boat building, wild swimming. You name it, we can organise it. Go on, challenge us!

  • Decoration and Lighting. We can design and oversee all decoration and lighting for you.

If you choose to work with our teams, you can rest in comfort knowing that we run two cafes, a pub/restaurant and festival in Hawarden and have full, highly engaged and professional teams who can sort everything out for you.
